We are pleased to announce that the ELDORADO research project is now fully active and in the recruitment phase in the EDCTP3-supported countries: Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire and Mozambique.
Following site trainings conducted at the end of 2025 and the completion of all regulatory start-up authorizations, local teams have begun enrolling the first participants into the ANRS 0392s ELDORADO clinical trial. These sites now join Brazil and France, where recruitment has been ongoing since the first half of 2025.
Thanks to strong mobilisation across all participating countries, recruitment is expected to be completed by the second half of 2026, with the end of participant follow-up (96 weeks) anticipated in S2 2028.
This milestone reflects the commitment of all international partners, site teams and funders, and marks an important step forward in the implementation of this large multicountry HIV clinical trial.
